Mission: The Welfare Committee strives to follow Christ and be His witnesses by serving and caring for the needy with love and compassion.
Vision: To be a people of caregivers, seeing to the welfare of the needy together with our parish community guided by Christian values. Coordinator: Wendy Sequeira Email: raoulseq@singnet.com.sg The Welfare Committee is made up of the following ministries:
1. Bethany Headstart 2. Christian Women's League (CWL) 3. Legion of Mary - OLPS Praesidium (Senior-English) 4. Queen of Heaven Praesidium (Malayalam) 5. Our Lady of Love (Filipino) 6. Ministry to the Sick 7. St. Vincent De Paul Society (SSVP) The welfare committee hopes to raise funds and aims to pray together for the different intentions of the parish community. The Christian Women’s League has been helping out in the parish canteen by cooking and raising funds. The Legion of Mary has been visiting homes and praying together with the parishioners. The Ministry of the Sick can be seen at old folks homes and parishioners home offering the eucaristic sacrament. St. Vincent De Paul provides money and rations to the needy in the vicinity.
