Who is RCIA for?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults roll-out its first Journey at OLPS in 1984; to evangelized groups of people that are:

• Non-baptized adults who want to be initiated into the Catholic Church.
• Baptized Christians who desire full communion with the Catholic Church.
• Catholics who were not Catechesied or want to refresh their knowledge of the Church Teachings or who want to undergo their own faith renewal.

IS RCIA a program?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is not a program, but a sacramental formation journey that prepares individuals and communities for a particular way of life. Conversion is at the heart of that way of life. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults facilitates the conversion experience."
