Christian Faith Formation is the process of helping an individual to be aware of God and to become closer to Him through initiation and conversion - prayer, reflection, sharing and human experience. Our ministries work to ensure that "seeds are being sowed and the conditions are right for good soil".
The seeds would refer to the relevant information that we can convey to the individual while the conditions refer to the environment and experiences that we can create in order for the individual (within and outside the parish) to know and experience God. Consequently faith formation can take place.
Faith formation for adults take place at the liturgy, in lectures, on retreats, in Bible study groups, in small Christian communities, from books/media, etc.
The Faith Formation Committee in OLPS is an umbrella organisation and comprise ministries that cater to the needs of individuals through their various stages in life.
